Wine Seminar – Ridge Monte Bello Vertical Tasting
Shauna Rosenblum joined Ridge Vineyards as the Lytton Springs Winemaker in June 2022. Shauna used to attend the TWWF and pour with her father Kent Rosenblum and then with her own winery, Rockpile. We are excited to have Shauna return to TWWF this year with 6 vintages of Monte Bello! This tasting will feature the 2020, 2017 (from magnum), 2015, 2012 and 2007 vintages of the iconic Monte Bello Cabernet-based wine and the 2016 vintage of the Monte Bello Chardonnay. An epic tasting not to be missed (limited to 24 guests).

Reserve Tasting & Silent Auction

25 great Winery Partners kick off the weekend with Taos’ best restaurants serving tastes alongside reserve wine at El Monte Sagrado resort in Taos. A silent auction of wine lots from each participating winery benefits Taos High School’s Great Chefs of Taos Program.

International Wines & Lamb Roast Walk-Around Luncheon
Enjoy wines from a great international wine team — Dalla Terra, Broadbent, Wilson Daniels, Banfi, Kermit Lynch and Vara — with savory lamb dishes from Blake 192 Restaurant, Chef Peter O’Brien of Santa Fe and Pig & Fig Café in Los Alamos.

Wine Seminar Riedel Crystal of America Veloce Tasting with Maison Marques & Domaines
Crystal of America’s Riedel Expert, Mari Beth Baumberger, leads you through this sensory workshop with a unique and fas­cinating wine glass tasting demonstrating the relationship between the shape of a glass and our perception and enjoyment of wine. The four-glass Riedel Crystal Veloce Tasting set includes a glass designed for Cabernet/Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Roland Hermann of Maisons Marqueus & Domaines will join the panel and wines featured will be Carpe Diem Chardonnay, Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc, Merry Edwards Pinot Noir and Chateau Kirwan Margaux; experience how well these varietals perform in these Riedel glasses and take home the Tasting Set as a souvenir (a retail value of $150).
